The father of an openly gay teen who committed suicide earlier this year will walk across the country to raise anti-bullying awareness.

A 20-year-old British man has been sent to jail for three-and-a-half years after he admitted to lighting a gay teen on fire at the teen’s 18th birthday last summer.

The teen whose coming out speech went viral in January now aims to ban conversation therapy in New Jersey. His online petition currently has more than 100,000 signatures.
